This year’s Awards were hosted by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and Eco-Age on 22nd September 2019, and reflected the commitment of fashion houses to sustainability, as they work to embrace rapid change while preserving the heritage and authenticity of small-scale producers. Held at Teatro alla Scala during Milan Fashion Week, the GCFA highlights the Handprint of Fashion.

  1. The Iconic Green Carpet was made by Econyl
  2. Event host Livia Firth wore a 2014 silver gown by Armani Prive that had been brought out from the archives specially for the occasion. And spouse Colin Firth wore his old Tom Ford Tuxedo, promoting #30Wears.
  3. Established in 2009, the Green Carpet Challenges encourages celebs & designers to walk the green carpet in ethically made garments. You can browse through all the amazing looks here and finally bust the myth that Sustainable clothes cannot look glamorous!
